On the eve of the seventh anniversary of the armed aggression of Georgia against South Ossetia, Parliament Speaker Valery Bganba sent a letter to the Chairman of the Parliament of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov.

"Dear Anatoly Ilyich!
On behalf of the People's Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia, let me express my sincere condolences to the Parliament and the people of South Ossetia in connection with the seventh anniversary of the tragic events of August 2008.
Expressing my solidarity and share the pain of the dead civilians, the defenders of Tskhinval and Russian peacekeepers, who opposed the Georgian aggressors on August 8, 2008, we wish to emphasize that their lives protected all the people of South Ossetia and the independence of your country.
We are confident that the citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia will always cherish the victory, and achieve new successes on the road of progress and creativity.
