Valery Bganba received representatives of the transport departments of Abkhazia and South Ossetia

On July 25, the agreement on international road transport was concluded between the state administration on transport of the Republic of Abkhazia and the committee of industry, transport and energy of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Sukhum. July 25th. Apsnypress. Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Bganba received representatives of the Committee on Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia.
 
 Chairman of the Committee, Batradz Sanakoev, thanked the head of the Government of Abkhazia for the organized working visit of the delegation of the South Ossetian transport ministry to Abkhazia. As part of the visit, there was concluded an agreement on international automobile communication between the State Administration on Transport of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Committee on Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia.
 
 Sanakoev stressed that a document signed with the Abkhaz colleagues, testifies the desire of the two fraternal peoples for rapprochement and close cooperation, as well as an understanding of the importance of developing economic ties.
 
 According to the participants of the meeting, on the basis of the signed document, the Tskhinval-Vladikavkaz-Sukhum route will open and will function year-round.
 
 Valery Bganba thanked the representatives of the transport departments of both countries for their work, noting the social significance of this project.
 
 “The opening and opening hours of the new route will give a significant impetus to development of the tourism industry of the two republics, further development and expansion of the transport network, which, in turn, will affect the economic performance of both Abkhazia and South Ossetia,” - said Bganba.
 
 The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev, Chairman of the Industry, Transport and Energy Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia Batradz Sanakoev, Head of the Transport Division of the Committee of Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia Timur Besaev, Head of the State Administration on Transport of the Republic of Abkhazia Robestan Gabliya.
