Vice-President Vitaly Gabniya met with new Russian FSS Border officers in Abkhazia

Eleven officers-graduates of military schools of the Russian FSS arrived in the republic to serve in the Border Guard Service of Russia in Abkhazia.
Sukhum. August 4. Apsnypress. Welcome meeting with the young officers held vice president Vitaly Gabniya, chairman of the State Security Service Zurab Margania and Advisor to the President Vladimir Zantariya.
The meeting began with a wreath-laying ceremony in the Park of Glory to the Memorial to those killed in the war of Abkhazia of 1992 - 1993, followed by a round table at the Museum of Military Glory of V.G. Ardzinba.
"We are pleased to welcome you in Abkhazia. I am sure that at the very distant future, Abkhazia and Russia will share future, a common outer perimeter ", - said in his welcoming speech Vice-President.
"In a very turbulent time when everyone feel the growth of tension in the world, you are here - to protect the borders of our country. For us it is very important and we appreciate it. You always do your duty at the highest level", - adviser to President Vladimir Zantariya congratulated young border guards on the start of service.
After the meeting, the young officers were shown the documentary film about Abkhazia and the exposition of the Museum of Military Glory of V.G. Ardzinba.
