Vladimir Putin congratulated Raul Khajimba on International recognition of Abkhazia's independence

Abkhazia celebrates the 10th anniversary of the International recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Sukhum. August 26. Apsnypress. A congratulatory telegram to Raul Khajimba from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was read at a solemn event at the Abkhazian Drama Theater dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the International Recognition of Abkhazia's Independence .
  
  The text of the telegram, in particular, says:
  
 "On the tenth anniversary of Russia's recognition of your country's independence, I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to you.
  
 Over the past decade, Abkhazia has gone a long way of becoming a state. Significant progress has been made by the republic in the sphere of social and economic development. 

 I would like to confirm that the Russian Federation will continue to render all possible assistance to the government and people of Abkhazia in solving the tasks of state building, as well as in ensuring national security.
