Vladislav Ardzinba always believed in his people, their wisdom and courage, and people believed their president

Volunteers of the Republic of Adygea made an appeal to the people of Abkhazia.

The appeal says:

"We, the volunteers of the War of Abkhazia, today on Memorial Day of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia, together with the fraternal Abkhazian people remember Vladislav Ardzinba.

For the past 5 years there is  no longer with us the greatest son of the Abkhazian people. For us, Vladislav was and is a model of masculinity, durability, integrity, education, infinite love for his people. Vladislav Ardzinba in a difficult time for Abkhazia made an invaluable contribution to the association not only Abkhaz people, but in the union of the peoples of the North Caucasus and southern Russia in a strong volunteer movement.

Using a truly popular love, he was also very humble and simple man. Vladislav Ardzinba always believed in his people, their wisdom and courage, and people believed their president. This belief has helped Abkhazian people to defeat the superior in numbers and equipment of the enemy, and the same faith helped sustain the lean years of the postwar period.

Remembering Vladislav Ardzinba, we, the volunteers of the Republic of Adygea, wish all the citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia, led by current President Raul Khadjimba Dzhumkovich, be worthy successors of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia in strengthening the state and improve the living standards of its citizens".
