Vladislav Surkov: the Abkhaz side presented high-quality projects that we are ready to finance

The working visit of Vladislav Surkov to the Republic of Abkhazia continues.

Sukhum. June 3. Apsnypress. Elena Poluyan. President of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba and Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov informed about the results of the bilateral meeting.

 According to Raul Khajimba, the meeting discussed the implementation of the Investment Program, as well as the activities of the Investment Agency. "The work is proceeding in a positive way. But I would like people to feel the results so that our activities will affect the quality of their life, the budget possibilities of the country, " - the head of state said.

 At the same time, Vladislav Surkov said: "The meeting is taking place on a very positive background. The next stage of the Investment program is being developed. Funds have been received from Russia, qualitative documentation has been prepared for all the facilities, a significant part of which are infrastructure facilities. It is very important, because there are a lot of social objects built. 

 Surkov commented on the activities of the Investment Agency: "I am glad to say that the Invest Agency, which is investing in Abkhazia, has launched the work. More than 1 billion rubles are approved for projects. This is the hotel business, the production of food, agricultural products. I hope that in this visit I will receive a bank of Abkhazian jam as a gift".

Surkov stressed the positivity of the talks: "Usually, at any meeting there is some element of anxiety, problems, and heated debates. We do not have it. Not because there are no problems, we understand each other well and act in perfect harmony on all issues. This is a great achievement! It is pleasant to note political stability in the country, which is critically important for the development of the state and the economy. "

 Answering journalists' questions, Surkov stressed the transition of bilateral relations to a higher level of integration: "We are successfully moving in all sectoral agreements at a good pace. Social integration is increasing. Now our relations have made great progress. "

 The parties reported on joint work in the field of medical services for the population. "We are waiting for the ratification of the Health Insurance Agreement, which will allow us to raise the level of medical care in the country and, in fact, to bring it to the all-Russian level. This question is rather expensive for Russia, but certainly, it must be solved, " - said Surkov. At the same time, Khadzhimba said that it is planned to spend "about one billion rubles" for implementation of the Agreement. "The documents are almost ready, a document on medicinal preparations was signed a while ago. This issue is very important for us, " - Raul Khajimba said.

Summing up the topic of bilateral cooperation, Surkov stressed: "The investment program is just beginning. Now we have started financing its new phase. The Abkhaz side presented high-quality projects, which we are ready to finance".
