Winner of the tender will become the supplier of equipment for passport control

Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia held a working meeting of the competitive committee for selecting a contractor for the supply of equipment for the passport department of the Interior Ministry of RA.
Sukhum. July 28. Apsnypress. The competition jury included members of the government and representatives of the departments concerned. According to the chairman of the competitive commission, First Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Adzynba, "the Commission has taken the task of carrying out a tender for the supply of equipment".
At the same time Vice-Premier of Abkhazia Dmitry Serikov said: "In order to implement the passport database, we need to buy the equipment which we divide into seven lots. Winners can become one or few companies".
The competition was attended by seven contractors firms, two of which - domestic entrepreneurs, and the rest are outside the country. Before summing up the contest came five candidates: SP Levon Tsuguryan, LLC "Step Logic" (Moscow), LLC "Micro Lana" (Sochi), «iSistems group» (Sukhum) and ZAO "Technology" (Moscow).
As the chairman of the Commission, the competition "is as transparent as possible". "We will do everything with all the rules, everyone's opinion will be taken into account", - said Shamil Adzynba.
One of the main parameters that determines the winner of the tender, according to the chairman of the Commission, will be the cost of the equipment.
During the meeting, the Commission had opened the envelopes bidders with the tender documents and released pricing for each.
As Adzynba noted, results of the competition will drive in a single table, with the timetable for deliveries of equipment and circuits. After that, the Commission will publish a report in the media indicating the winners of the tender.
