Young Abkhaz boxers won six gold medals and one silver

11 athletes from Sukhum participated in the Championship of Sochi.
Sukhum. April 28. Apsnypress. The competition was attended by over 300 boxers from Sochi, Matsesta, Tuapse, Adler and other cities.
On the first day of competition fights were held among juniors of 2003 - 2004 where 1st places in different weight categories won Daniel Taniya (36 kg) and Lasha Gogiya (65 kg) ; and 2nd - Almas Adleyba (37 kg).
In the category of 2001 - 2002 in the qualifying matches were successfull Rustam Sarsaniya (41.5 kg), Gudisa Hibba (35 kg), Enrique Argun (52 kg) and Said Berzeniya (50 kg), in the final they won gold medals.
Thus, the juniors from Abkhazia won six gold medals and one silver. "Our young athletes were very successfull and effective at these competitions which testifies their high physical fitness and endurance. They worthily represent Abkhazia to high level at the competitions", - said the coach Beslan Adleyba.
