Chess players from Abkhazia will participate in the International Chess Cup «Moscow Open 2017».
Sukhum. January 24. Apsnypress. Young chess players from Abkhazia at the invitation of the Moscow Government will participate in the International Chess Cup «Moscow Open 2017». It is largest chess festival of Europe, which will take place from 26 January to 5 February. The State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of RA reported.
According to the report, along with the tournament for adults, which involves world-class grandmasters, there will be organized children tournaments. They will be attended by 20 children from Abkhazia.
«Moscow Open 2017» - the only event where we stand under the flag of Abkhazia. The trip of our athletes is held with the support of the RA State Committee for Physical Culture and Sport and the Committee on Youth and Sports Administration of Sukhum", - said the president of the Chess Federation of Abkhazia Konstantin Tuzhba.
