Zurab Argun and Zaira Tsvizhba are elected as Vice-Chairmen of the Journalists' Union of Abkhazia

On the XII Congress meeting of the Presidium of the Union of Abkhaz journalists.

Sukhum. January 20. Apsnypress. During the meeting of the Presidium of the Union of Journalists of Abkhazia board members unanimously elected as Vice-Chairmen Zurab Argun and Zaira Tsvizhba. Vladimir Khashba is elected as Executive Secretary of the creative union. 
 
 In addition, there were formed an Auditing Commission.
 
   Chairman of the Journalists Union Ruslan Khashig introduced a draft appeal in connection with the forthcoming elections to the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
 Members of the Presidium of the Union of Journalists endorsed the appeal, which calls journalists and media managers to be guided solely by the current electoral law and the law on the media, to provide equal information opportunities to all candidates.
 
 At the meeting, it was decided to establish the editorial committees to amend the Charter of the Union of Journalists and the drafting of the  journalists code of the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
 Bureau members approved the application for membership in the Union of Journalists of Abkhazia chief editor of "Abaza" magazines and "Circassian world" Gennady Alamia and photojournalist, ARTF Director Vladimir Popov.
 
 The meeting approved the work plan of the Journalists' Union of Abkhazia for 2017
